DAY 1
CUSCO
Reception at the Cusco airport and lodge at the
selected Hotel . In the
afternoon: Cusco City Tour from 2 pm to 6:30 pm.
This tour includes the
Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the Cathedral.
The tour drives along the
Circunvalacion Road up to famous fortress of
Sacsahuaman, then to Q'enqo,
Puca Pucara and Tambomachay with Spanish and English
speaking professional
guide. Include tourist ticket valid for the entrance
to many museums and
ruins as well. Lodging at the selected Hotel .
DAY 2
SACRED VALLEY OF
THE INKAS
*This tour is available on Tuesdays , Thursdays
or Sundays only .
Breakfast . You will be picked up at 8:40 am.
Full day excursion to the
Urubamba Valley visiting: the village of Pisac,
a picturesque town of creole
and colonial aspect and its lndian market and
craftfair. Lunch provided. In
the afternoon you'll visit to the fortress of
Ollantaytambo, an
architectural group that in the days of the
Tahuantinsuyo empire was a
gigantic agricultural, administrative, social,
religious and military
complex, then the Chincero market. At the end,
return to Cusco at 6:30pm .

DAY 3
RAFTING
Breakfast. At 09:00 hrs. we leave for Urubamba river
on the Sacred Valley of
the Incas (North of Cusco), where our guide will
give a introductory chat on
safety and equipment for our trip running the
Urubamba. After lunch we
return back to Cusco, arriving at around 17:00 hrs.

Day 4
Pick up at your hotel. We start our trek escorted by
native "quechua"
porters going through semi-arid terrain along the
Urubamba river with
magnificent views of snow capped mount Veronica,
later going through
Llactapata, an ancient Inca citadel that protected
the entry to two valleys.

Day 5
Today the first part of the trek takes us to the
Inca Hamlet of Huayabamba,
later going through Warmiwañuska pass (4200 Mt),
known as "dead woman's
pass". (B,L,D)
Day 6
Walking on a remarkably preserved Inca Trail passing
ancient archaeological
sites covered by dense jungle overgrowth, later
visiting the Phuyupatamarca
(city above clouds) with spectacular view of snow
covered Andean ranges,
then Wyñaywayna, probably the most spectacular
archaeological complex during
the trek. (B,L,D)
Day 7
After an early breakfast we will Pass through the
Inti Punku (Gate of the
Sun), we arrive to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of
the Incas, we will take a
guided tours of the citadel, then late in the
afternoon train back to Cusco,
lodging at the selected Hotel (B)
DAY 8
TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast, transfer to the airport and end of our
services. (B)

PARK REGULATIONS:
The Inca Trail is part of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary,
a protected area of
32,592 hectares, managed by the National Institute
of Natural Resources,
INRENA. Every visitor must obey park regulations
prohibiting littering,
cutting or damaging trees, removing or damaging
stones of ruins and the
Trail, removing plants, killing animals, lighting
open fires or camping in
the archeological sites (only authorized campsites
can be used).
