DAY 1 CUSCO
Reception at the airport of Cusco and lodge at hotel
tourist class accommodations (*NOTE: First Class or
De Luxe hotels available on request).
In the afternoon between 13:15 and 13:45, we will
pick you up from hotel for the city tour: visiting:
the Main Square, the Cathedral, its extremely sober
renaissance facade contrast with the baroque and
plateresque style of its interior, and Koricancha, a
famous temple dedicated to the Sun. Then, visit to
the nearby ruins: Kenko, ancient ceremonial center
dedicated to the earth; Puca Pucara, administrative
and military center; Tambomachay, important place of
worship dedicated to water and the fortress of
Sacsayhuaman, cyclopean fortress built for the
defense of Cusco. Return to the hotel. Overnight (no
meals).
DAY 2 SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS
You will be picked up between 8:15 and 8:40 am. Full
day excursion to the Urubamba Valley visiting: the
village of Pisac, a picturesque town of creole and
colonial aspect and its lndian market and craftfair.
Lunch provided. In the afternoon you'll visit to the
fortress of Ollantaytambo, an architectural group
that in the days of the Tahuantinsuyo empire was a
gigantic agricultural, administrative, social,
religious and military complex, then the Chincero
market. At the end, return to Cusco and overnight at
hotel. (B, L).
DAY 3 RAFTING
This section of the river is more intense with
Adrenaline pumping rapids Class III
on the Chuquicahuana section of the river we will
include a safety Cataraft or Kayak.
We will be meeting at 9:00 of the morning at the
front door of our offices located at Portal
Confiturias 211 , Plaza de Armas Cusco.
Our private transportation will take us to our
camping ground at "Cusipata River Camp", were we can
leave our baggage. Here you will enjoy , hot showers,
toilets , sauna and a comfortable dinning area.
Our Professional River guides will provide you with
all the proper rafting equipment such as helmet, wet
suit, spray jacket ,paddle and self bailing raft.
After a comprehensive safety talk you will drive 10
minutes more to Chuquicahuana them will running
exiting class III rapids. You will spend about two
hours floating time , Afterwards, we drive back to
CASA CUSI “ were a good warm lunch will be serve and
you can enjoy a relaxing SAUNA.
Our return would be in the late afternoon . (B, L)

DAY 4 INKA TRAIL PREMIUM (Private
Service)
We start our trek escorted by native "quechua"
porters going through
semi-arid terrain along the Urubamba river with
magnificent views of snow
capped mount Veronica, later going through
Llactapata, an ancient Inca
citadel that protected the entry to two valleys. (B+L+D)
Kilometers walking: 12 Km. (Km.82 to Huayllabmba)
Altitude: Cusco (3400 m) - Chillca (2720 m) -
Huayllabamba (2950 m)
DAY 5
Today the first part of the trek takes us to the
Inca Hamlet of Huayabamba,
later going through Warmiwañuska pass (4200 mt),
known as "dead woman's
pass". (B+L+D)
Kilometers walking: 12 Km. (Huayllabamba to
Pacaymayo)
Altitude: Huayllabamba (2950 m.) - Pakaymayu (3600
m.)
DAY 6
Walking on a remarkably preserved Inca Trail passing
ancient archaeological
sites covered by dense jungle overgrowth, later
visiting the Phuyupatamarca
(city above clouds) with spectacular view of snow
covered Andean ranges,
camping at Wyñaywayna, probably the most spectacular
archaeological complex
during the trek. (B+L+D)
Kilometers walking: 16 Km. (Pacaymayo to Wiñayhuayna)
Altitude: Pakaymayo (3600 m.) - Wiñaywayna (2700 m.)
DAY 7
Passing through the Intipuncu (gates of the sun) ,
we arrive to Machu
Picchu, the lost city of the Incas, then late in the
afternoon to Aguas
Calientes where we will overnight in the hotel. (B+L)
Kilometers walking: 5 Km. (Wiñayhuaina to Machu
Picchu)
Altitude: Wiñayhuayna (2700 m.) - Machu Picchu (2400
m.)- Cusco (3400 m.)
DAY 8
Early morning rise and after breakfast we'll take a
bus up to visit
Machupicchu ( Entrance fee and transportation are
not included this day). An optional hike for the
more dynamic persons up to Huaynapicchu, the pyramid
shape peak that overlooks Machu Picchu. In the
afternoon we will take the train back to Cusco.
Overnight at the selected Hotel (B)
DAY 9 TRANSFER OUT
Transfer to the airport and end of the services (B)
Departure for "Inca Trail" the most famous trekking
of South America,
following Bingham's footsteps
Include: Bus service until km 82, entrance
ticket to the Inca trail,
professional English and Spanish speaking guide,
tents, bath tent, cook
tent, carriers, extra porters for your personal
items, breakfasts lunches
and dinners (as explained below), complete Machu
Picchu's ruins tour, train
ticket back to Cusco.

* Participants need to be in good physical health
and condition to be able
to enjoy the Inka Trail. The trekking will be
difficult if you have not
exercised regularly before your trip. To fully enjoy
an Inka Trail
adventure, we advise passengers to get into an
exercise program for their
own safety and enjoyment. If a passenger suffers
from any medical condition,
we advise him/her to consult a physician about
joining an Inka Trail
